Movie 1
On August 21st of 2004 the first Naruto Movie "Daikatsugeki Yukihime Ninpoujyou Dattebayo" [Large Fighting Scene Snow Princess Ninja Scroll] screened in Japan. Naruto and team 7 are assigned to protect a film star who has a secret life she left behind in the Snow Country.

Movie 2
On the 2nd movie "Gekijyouban Naruto Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no Chiteiiseki Dattebayo!!" [Naruto's big clash in the Theatre! The illusion of the ruins of the depths of the earth!!] screened on August 6th, 2005 in Japan. The most interesting thing to note is that the cast includes Shikamaru and Gaara and doesn't seem to include Sasuke.

TV
Naruto Anime started airing in Japan on October 3rd 2002. The second season started in April 2003 with episode 26, 45 minutes in length, half of which was a re-cap of the series so far. It also featured new OP and ED songs. Naruto Anime is produced by Peirrot [which also produced Key the Metal Idol, Saiyuki and Hikaru no Go among others] in conjunction with TV Tokyo. It currently airs at 7:27 PM Wednesday nights on TV Tokyo. The anime has surpassed 140 episodes as of the summer of 2005.

DUB
Naruto began airing on Cartoon Network in English on Saturday September 10th 2005.
