Naruto's Story

When Uzumaki Naruto, the protagonist of Kishimoto Masashi's manga "Naruto" was a baby, the village leader, Yondaime [Fourth] Hokage defeated the Kyuubi no Youko [giant nine-tailed demon fox] by sealing it into Naruto's newborn body. Yondaime forbid the villagers to speak of this around the boy as he grew up and hoped that they would see him as a hero. Unfortunately, Yondaime died performing this seal and the villagers' spite towards Naruto grew. Naruto's greatest wish is to have people 'acknowledge his existence' and to become the leader of his hidden ninja village, the Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato. Since there have been five so far, if he were to be the next one, he would be called Rokudaime [hence this website's name]. Naruto grows from an irritating, punk kid into an increasingly competent, brave, strong ninja as the story progresses. So far, the manga and anime have not ended. His past is still shrouded with mystery. We still [as of volume 26 of the manga] don't know who his parents were. There is some talk that Yondaime could be his father, which would click. They look a lot alike and it stands to reason that the man would sacrifice his life and the life of his son to save the village.
Naruto learned he had the Kyuubi sealed inside him the day he failed his Acadamy exam once again. His teacher, Iruka, who felt a kinship towards Naruto because he'd been through the same pain of lonliness allowed him to graduate, making Naruto a Genin or entry-level ninja. Naruto was then teamed up with Haruno Sakura, a smart, pretty kunoichi [female ninja] and Uchiha Sasuke, a brooding so-called genius and their sensei the ulta-laid-back Jounin [elite level ninja] Hatake Kakashi. His job was to train them further so that they could reach Chuunin or second-level ninja status. Naruto underwent some serious life-lessons during their harrowing mission to the Wave Country, where he fought for his life and witnessed ninja die. The team then underwent the exam to become Chuunin where Naruto was tested again and again. He fought to protect his friends in the Forest of Death. He beat Inuzuka Kiba in the prelim to the third test. Then the legendary Toad Hermit, Jiraiya ran into him and traied Naruto to better control his inner strength or chakra for the third exam. With this new control, Naruto defeated the genius advanced-bloodline bearing Hyuuga Neji. Suddenly, a war broke out between the Hidden Leaf and the Sand and Sound villages. Naruto was ordered after Sasuke and Gaara who were fighting when the fighting started. Gaara was discovered to have a demon locked inside him as well, and it came that Naruto and Gaara fought. Naruto won after calling upon the power of the Kyuubi and using the summoning jutsu Jiraiya taught him. Because the exam was disrupted by a sudden attack and because the judges deemed it so, the only ninja that made it to Chuunin was Nara Shikamaru, not Naruto. But soon, Naruto was off on another important mission, this time with his new sensei, Jiraiya. Jiraiya trained Naruto to master an extremely high-level jutsu called the Rasengan which Jiraiya had previously taught to his former student, the 4th Hokage. Together, they found the woman who would become the 5th Hokage, Jiraiya's former teammate, Tsunade. She bet a precious necklace she wore that Naruto couldn't master the Rasengan in one week. They fought with their other teammate, Orochimaru and Naruto almost lost his life in a fight with Kabuto, but Tsunade healed him and gave him the necklace. After Naruto returned to the Hidden Leaf, he fought with an angry and jealous Sasuke. Soon, Sasuke fled the Leaf to join up with Orochimaru. Naruto and a team of Genin lead by Chuunin Shikamaru set off after him, because after the war the Leaf was short on ninja. The boys won their fights either single-handedly or with the help of allies from the Hidden Sand: Gaara, Temari and Kankurou. Naruto now had to fight his own teammate, threatening to break his arms and legs if he had to in order to bring him back home. Naruto used the Rasengan but Sasuke used his full curse-seal form and Chidori and defeated Naruto and went to Orochimaru. Everyone survived [except perhaps the sound-nin]. Naruto went off to train with Jiraiya and Sakura trained under Tsunade. Three years passed. Naruto retunred to Konoha where he was teamed up once again with Kakashi and Sakura. In the Hidden Sand, Gaara had become Kazekage. The Akatsuki attacked and captured him, but not before Gaara saved his village from destruction. Kakashi's team was sent out to handle it and Gai's team was sent as backup. We learned more about the demons sealed inside Naruto and Gaara. The Akatsuki then separated Gaara from the Ichibi, apparently killing him. Naruto and company fought to get Gaara back and stop the Akatsuki. The story continues, but this site will not be updated any longer. |
